Surrounded by the mountains, the poets and prophets of ancient Israel found inspiration and spiritual renewal in their heights. First United Methodist Church of Pasadena is blessed with a beautiful camp in a stunning setting in the San Bernardino Mountains near Angeles Oaks. The staff of FUMC plans six camps every year to meet the various needs and interests of the congregation. All camps have common components -- worship, group and individual activities, structured and free time, crafts, and of course plenty of down-home camp food. Summer camps offer swimming under the pines in the solar heated pool.
