The Dead Sea ScrollsThe FUMC Speaker SeriesSo as to get the most well rounded perspective, we will be learn about this fascinating subject from two of the most prominent experts in the world on the subject. Dr. James Sanders, founder of the Ancient Biblical Manuscript Center and Professor Emeritus at the Claremont School of Theology. Dr. Sanders unrolled and translated the large Scroll of Psalms from Qumran cave 11 in 1961. Joining Dr. Sanders is the noted lecturer and author, Dr. Bill Yarchin, professor of Biblical studies at Azusa Pacific University. Dr. Yarchin has frequently been voted Outstanding Professor of the Year at APU, and he has been involved with the Dead Sea Scrolls Photography Preservation Project.
