First United Methodist Church has been a favorite location for major film productions and photography for decades.

About Our Facility

Our site offers a variety of distinctive spaces for interior or exterior filming, as well as the ability to be a basecamp to Pasadena filming.

The sanctuary, with seating for 1,400 people, houses an EM Skinner Organ with hand carved casing, a rose window in French Gothic style and beautiful stained glass windows.

The chapel, offering seating for 180 people, was designed by Thomas P Barber and completed in 1924. It reflects a traditional English College gothic style and includes a round Tiffany window from the original church building.

Additional options include:
  • Fellowship Hall (3,225 SF)
  • Great Hall (3,234 SF)
  • Aldersgate Room (988 SF)
  • Professional restaurant grade kitchen (1,972 SF)
  • Pastor's office
  • Video production room
  • Multiple basements
  • Outside spaces with a Mediterranean style and fountain
  • Adjacent 62 spot (with potential to expand) parking lot that can be used as a base camp, crew parking or catering
