Youth
For youth (7th - 12th grade) we provide a safe, intersectional, inclusive community to explore faith, make friends, and have lots of fun. We welcome all regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, race, ethnicity and more. We would love for you to join us! Our Sunday evening youth program includes dinner, fellowship, and activities that allow students to explore and deepen their faith by asking questions, serving others, and learning new ways to connect with God. We have lots of opportunities for service throughout the year, as well as an annual summer service trip.
We offer a variety of programs each week and throughout the year providing opportunities for worship, spiritual formation and lots of fun!

Service
Throughout the year our youth have many opportunities to serve, both in the church and community.
A few examples are gardening at GroWorks, running games at Trunk-or-Treat (which the church hosts for the community), and making sack lunches for our church's food pantry clients. Additionally, each summer the youth go on a learning and service trip, which allows them to build community, experience new people and places, expand their worldview, and serve others in need. We fundraise throughout the year so students are able to participate in the trip with little to no financial burden.
Sunday Evening Youth Group
Our Youth meet on Sunday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in the Youth Lounge.
Youth need safe places to build friendships and find a sense of belonging. We facilitate positive community building during Sunday evening Youth Group by eating dinner together each week, playing games, planning service projects, and having lots of fun! Youth grow together in faith as we have discussions, ask questions, serve others, and experience life together.
Confirmation Classes
We offer courses for youth to explore their faith journeys.
United Methodists use the term "confirmation" to mark the first time a baptized Christian publicly "confirms" their intention to live the vows of the baptismal and membership covenant and so becomes a professing member of the local congregation and The United Methodist Church.
In preparation for this step, we offer confirmation classes for youth to delve into their faith and learn more about what it means to be a disciple of Christ in a church community.
Music & Drama
We have many opportunities for youth to participate in music and theater.
During the school year we have a youth choir and a youth handbell choir. In the summer many youth from the church and community participate in our Summer Musical Program.

Family Events
We have many fun, family-focused events all year long.
We believe in Faith, Family, Friends and Fun! Several times a year we gather for family fun and faith building. Family ministry events include Halloween fun, Advent Festival, Family-Style Mardi Gras celebration, and so much more!
Safe Gatherings
The United Methodist Church’s Safe Gatherings policies ensure that every church is a safe place where children, youth and elders may experience the abiding love of God and fellowship within the community of faith.
Our church staff and persons working with our children and youth have completed a comprehensive background check and training to ensure that our campus and programs are safe for children. Children are our top priority and we make every effort to ensure their physical, emotional and spiritual safety while they are in our care.
